Services:
Garden City Therapy provides psychotherapy for adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship concerns. Our work is grounded in creating a supportive, responsive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and able to move toward meaningful change.
Our clinicians are licensed in New York and hold Master’s degrees in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling. As a team, we bring experience across outpatient clinics, hospitals, and community mental health settings throughout Long Island and Queens. We work collaboratively and engage in ongoing supervision and training to ensure thoughtful, high-quality care.
Treatment is individualized and draws from evidence-based and insight-oriented approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, trauma-informed care, and strengths-based and solution-focused models. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all. We tailor the process to each client’s needs, goals, and pace.
We commonly work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, grief and loss, relationship and family issues, life transitions, identity concerns, and patterns such as codependency, emotional dysregulation, or difficulty with self-esteem. We also support clients navigating stress related to work, health, and major life changes.
Our approach emphasizes both insight and practical tools. Clients are supported in understanding patterns, processing experiences, and developing strategies that improve daily functioning and overall well-being. We aim to help clients build self-awareness, strengthen coping skills, and feel more grounded and confident in their lives.
